Magento 2 Apple Pay with Payfort extension

I am stuck on my client's website he is willing to integrate Magento 2 pay fort extension and it creates error while implementing it 

For the e-commerce store, I thought the best option is to choose a Magento platform. As latest in 2020, there are so many migrations occur from various platform to Magento 2 like woo-commerce to magento2, Shopify to Magento, Prestashop, and Shopify. All are good platforms however I thought Magento was best in my opinion 

 

Summary of the Issue

The problem occurs with all extensions.

I am trying to install stripeofficial/stripe-payments on Magento 2.3.0 using extension manager and when it gets to the Component Install phase it stalls after: ./composer.json has been updated and continues to print Update is already in progress

I have looked around at several solutions and have tried the following:

1. Checked permissions for the /var files
2. Removed the .update_in_progress.flag and the .maintenance.flag

we are sorry that we can't help you on this matter.

We just use the API to connect our ERP system to Magento 2. Unfortunately we are no experts in the development of Magento 2 itself or  plugins for this shop.
